The song struck something in me as soon as I started listening to it. The imagery of the lyrics coupled with the melody sends chills and connects me to a peaceful state of mind.
I wanted to perform this song here so more people can find out about this wonderful gem.
I hope you enjoy this and let me know of your thoughts in the comments.

Happy birthday to one of my favourite Tamil film industry music directors, Yuvan Shakar Raja.
I came to really enjoy his music especially in my teen years.
It was difficult to choose my songs for this but hopefully I can share more of his amazing songs with you in the future. You can see how his songs are reaching across various audiences and languages below. I have focussed on covering the Tamil versions as I can replicate the pronunciation well.

GBm
I found myself dreaming. Of silver and gold.
EmC
Like a scene from movie. That every broken heart knows.
GBm
We were walking on moonlight. When you held me close.
EmC
Split second and you disappeared. And then I was all alone.
GGBmBm
I woke up in tears with you by my side. Breathe of relief and I realized.
EmC
No, we're not promised tomorrow.
GBm
*So I'm gonna love you like I'm gonna lose you.
EmC
I'm gonna hold you, like I'm saying goodbye.
GBm
Wherever we're standing, I won't take you for granted.
EmC
Cause we'll never know when, when we'll run out of time.
GBm
So I'm gonna love you like I'm gonna lose you.
EmC
So I'm gonna love you like I'm gonna lose you*
GBm
In the blink of an eye. Just a whisper of smoke.
EmC
You could lose everything. The truth is you never know.
GBm
So I'll kiss you longer baby. Any chance that I get.
EmC
And I'll make the most of the minutes. And love with no regret.
GG
So let's take the time to say what we want.
BmBm
Use what we got before it's all gone.
EmC
No, we're not promised tomorrow.
Ever since I heard this song, I kept playing it on repeat, I’ve linked the original song and the stories behind it in my blog which you can find the description.
‘Ennul Inikkum Inbame’ speaks of the omniscient, omnipresent power that is felt.
On this song, the creators commented, "We were left with the overwhelming feeling that this album, although already so diverse and multifaceted in nature, needed just a little something more to amp it up. Ennul Inikkum Inbame is the product of this feeling."
"Inspired by Qawwali music, a huge source of inspiration and knowledge for us both, Ennul Inikkum Inbame is the first independent Qawwali-inspired Tamizh song, and we’re super thrilled to share it with you! Featuring some of our favourite musicians, Saurabh Joshi, Rohith Jayaraman, Sreerag, Sayee and Abinandan, this is the song that we found to be a fitting end to the album, and we really hope you feel the same."
"Abinandan David is the second guitarist on the EP. Rithu Vysakh is a strings player, composer, musician from Kerala. The violins in ‘Ennul Inikkum Inbame’ were played by Sayee Rakshith. MT Aditya Srinivasan is an incredibly diverse percussionist from Chennai. Saurabh Joshi is an accomplished multi-percussionist and sound engineer hailing from Dehradun."
‘Ennul Inikkum Inbame’ was mixed and mastered by Saurabh Joshi.
This video features a song that describes the beauty of music and how it can affect the world.
This song is from the 1972 film, Thavapudhalavan. This was originally sung by T. M. Soundararajan. Lyrics were written by Kannadasan. Music was directed by M. S. Vishwanathan.
It is based in Kalyani Raga which brings joy to people. This is known as the Lydian Mode.
As this is an Acapella cover, I have used multiple tracks to create the melody, drone and the rhythm.
1/2 tracks for the main melody
1/2 tracks for the harmonies
2 tracks for the drone Sa and Pa
0/1 track for the clapping which I did instead of konnakol or a percussion instrument.
1 track for the thakkathina thom repeating theme.

The lyrics are below:
இசை கேட்டால் புவி அசைந்தாடும் அது இறைவன் அருளாகும்
This cover is dedicated to Appa! Happy father's day!
I have thought about dedicating a cover to him for a long time but was struggling to find a meaningful song that captured us as well as appreciated by both!
I really enjoyed making this cover of Please Sir from Boys. The original is also A Capella with a range of voices while my rendition uses my voice only with different harmonies. I'm hoping that this will be the first of many solo acapella tracks...
Happy mid-autumn festival to those who celebrate it!

I've decided to release this video just before the occasion of the mid-autumn festival, otherwise known as the moon festival. As well as other names for this festival, it is also known as Chuseok and Tsukimi in Korea and Japan respectively.
This is a famous classic song that is known to be close to people's hearts over the years.
‘Ponnondru Kanden’ from Padithal Mattum Podhuma (composers M.S. Viswanathan, T.K. Ramamurthy) is a fine piece in Brindavani, with a touch of the dhaivata at the charanam. The phrase ‘Nee Indri Naan Illai...’ (NSSRRSSNNPPMMRRS) traverses the entire scale of the raga.
